Welcome to District 217
Carrying forward decades of excellence in communication and leadership development across the Carolinas.
District 217 serves Toastmasters across North Carolina, along with select clubs joining from neighboring South Carolina. We carry forward decades of excellence in communication and leadership development from the legacy districts that came together to form us.
District 217 is home to approximately 160+ clubs and more than 2,600 members. Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Since 1924, Toastmasters has helped people from all backgrounds build confidence as speakers, communicators, and leaders.
